residential construction还是structural engineering好

psu的土木，发现把我申请的structural engineering给成了residential construction的导师，要不要申请换回来……纠结中0.0

……多谢！但我是硕士面向就业的项目，如果工民建就业无论国内外都不如结构工程……我就要换了啊……

I am not sure the the employment would be better in a few years. But the structural parts need more people who understand BIM. Residential market is kind of full in PA now unless your focus is stormwater management or bridge because a lot of projects now are related to transportation. PA just passed a Act last year to double transportation funding. Of course, consulting companies are prefer hiring US residents or Green Card Holder unless you work for the government and be familiar with PennDOT code. Working here is stressful here now...

Both are not good, transfer to CS or EE asap
