USC网申问题！是否愿意提前，18summer入学？

因为我是gap year中，所以不存在要留国内做毕设的问题

请教大家，usc的这个summer学期和fall学期相比的区别在哪里？有什么劣势？
选了这个会不会影响录取？虽然官方说的是没有影响
