小白求问亚麻的社招，是否需要说明背景不太符合

楼主目前外派到了加拿大，今年抽到了工签，但本计划明年年初再回到美国。上周突然收到了Amazon的猎头的SDE的email，具体是

LZ其实并没有细看（因为换工作目前对楼主来说其实不太方便，连美国工签都没有），只是例行公事周日给他们发了简历。然而今天对方回复了说即将收到OA的link。
同学得知情况后，问我是否有ML方面的工作经验，我回答并没有，只是在data analytics方面有些许经验。同学建议我回复email说明这一点，询问是否需要换组。
楼主现供职公司主要业务是网站，公司也有一定的数据分析方面的工作，但并不是十分突出。楼主3年经验，近年来主要工作经验是SQL和SSIS方面，但也在C#, asp .net，.net core方面有一定经验（独立设计过.net core的web project）。

请教诸位，People Technology Team的SDE对ML的经验要求多吗，是否一定要提前告知他们我并无ML相关经验？还是在OA之后再和对方商量？(Recruiter是看过简历的)

一般来说不需要。现在很大一部分组都用到了machine learning，但有经验的engineer也没那么多，很多组是允许工作中学习上手的。
而且面试也一般都是标准化的面试， 一半behavioral加一半coding/design，并不会问到ML的概念。
