EB2 NYC 绿卡面经 11.14.2019

11.14.2019  - interview appointment

进到七楼，700 window checked in -

面试时间是 12:15p. 我是11:58a checked in. 然后就是干等。没带任何吃的或喝的， 而且也不太放心出去上洗手间， 担心错过叫号。非常漫长。。。

在大概 2:55p, 轮到我了。第一个问题是： 问我是 中国 还是 中国台湾。 我说中国。 然后，就被告知 Visa Retrogression. For my case, it has to be sent back to NBC... not surprised

面试官seems really in a hurry, and after knowing that I’ve been working for the same company, he didn’t ask for anything like W2, job letter, employment verification letter, tax returns, etc.  He only asked my company name. Didn’t ask what do I do  or any other things

He asked my education a bit, nothing too detailed.

He requested these documents - and took some of them to make a copy

1. EAD
2. Passports
3. Current H1b
4. Birth certificate original
5. New medical record
6. Old OPT card - I told him I didn’t bring that.. he said “fine, it’s fine”

He kept telling me that because of Visa Retrogression, I am more than likely will need to wait for another 2 months. But he’s hopeful and thinks I might get it early next year.  And tell me to try not to get fired or quit the job till I got the green card... lol and he said when it's my current time, I shall be getting the 10 year GC.  Then I thank him. Then he walked me out.


所以， 感觉是没什么大问题。 就是还要继续等。

从这里看18年12月就current，为何拖到现在才面试啊

恭喜，下个月eb2很有可能前进到2015.09，拿卡也不会很久

... 12 月排期一出来  我current 了。。 可是档案估计回到 nbc 了.
