对，要在sophas上交wes的成绩单，小秘还要我发了一份扫描版的成绩单过去。

广东的大学，比如中大，暨南大学这样，这些学校不水，只是说相比综合排名靠前的学校，哥大的统计比较好申请

Most faculty members(I have talked to) here worry about the teaching quality of the MA program at downtown campus. When there are RA openings, some students in the stats MA program apply as well but faculty members usually are not willing to take the risk to hire them. Some Chinese professors are aware that there are some outstanding students in that program but there is big variance also. From such perspective, students in that department are put in a position of disadvantages.

Another fact is that there are some students in that program ended up in good positions in industry and good PhD programs such as biostats@Hopkins and stats@Cornell.

According to staff members here, the department is aware that it is impossible to fund the department with tuition from masters students so they kind of care about the reputation of the program and "they only let people in who they think belong here".
