谢谢楼主。。也就是说。。我如果去了哥大生统的话，应该还有换方向的机会。。如果觉得Ps项目不合适我，还可以转到Tm方向么。。。。

I think you should have no problem if you wanna transfer to TM track. But as a reminder, do check the coursework requirements of both tracks ahead of time and make sure you have the prerequisites of the following courses. TM track has more rigorous training it could be an issue if you wanna transfer to TM track after the first semester if you did not take the prerequisites of TM track courses in the Spring. Check the student handbook if you plan to attend Columbia.

想请问学长，TM的MS申请本系的PHD难度有多大？是不是没有直接考qualify升phd的机会？之前在地里看到有人说转phd会很容易，不知是否准确。非常感谢！
