The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, invites applications for 1 Ph.D. position in Spring 2022. Fully financial supports (RA) will be provided.
Dr. Chenchen Liu graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and the main research areas include
1)Novel computing architecture and embedded system designs for artificial intelligence;
2)Machine Learning;
3)Brain-Inspired Computing;
4) Novel non-volatile memory, FPGA, and VLSI design.
Successful candidates should be highly self-motivated to pursue independent and interdisciplinary research. Background in one or more of the following areas is preferred: programming, computer architecture, machine learning, VLSI design, and FPGA.
