Postdoctoral Positions in Turbulent study of speaking-generated expiration plumes at University of Pittsburgh
A postdoctoral position is available for a: Turbulent study of speaking-generated expiration plumes project at Prof. Lei Fang’s lab at the University of Pittsburgh in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized person for a unique opportunity to conduct research on the turbulent study of speaking-generated expiration plumes. The person should demonstrate exceptional project management skills. The successful applicant should possess a Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields, have an excellent academic record, and work well in a collaborative research environment. The candidate should have completed the Ph.D. prior to the date of joining. The project involves an exciting combination of experimental fluid mechanics and data-driven study. The candidate with experimental fluid mechanics techniques and background knowledge of turbulence is highly valued.
The initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of an extension. The start date is flexible, with a preference for candidates ready to begin as soon as possible. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
