Job Responsibilities
Participate in projects applying electrodeposition methodologies to develop features for the Lam SABRE 3D system to further enhance tool operation performance for Lam customers.  Supports in the testing and characterization on development of new or modified process formulations.  These duties include setting up of and running bench scale experiments, operations of application lab deposition development tool and bath metrology equipment and use of metrology tools to measure and characterize on wafer deposition performance.  Further R&D support activities can also include data compilation and organization and conducting scientific journal research.  Good knowledge of chemistry, electrochemistry and electrodeposition a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience in a wet lab performing electrochemical experiments with a ring disk electrode (RDE) such as linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) , galvanostatic polarization tests, etc.
Fundamental understanding with copper, nickel, gold, tin and tin-alloy electrodeposition.
Practical experience applying statistical modeling techniques to perform end-to-end data analysis from problem definition, data preparation, model selection, performance metric selection, to result analysis and conclusions.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in college pursuing a Master's, or PhD degree in chemistry or chemical engineering with an outstanding academic record (full time enrollment desirable).
Graduates may be considered for up to 6 months after graduation only.
Experience in chemical reactor design and scale-up
Firm understanding of probability and statistics
