回复：Once we receive your application materials, we will scan them into our system. If they are received before you submit your application, however, then we will not have an application to attach them to. When you do submit your application, please let us know so that we can go in and attach your documents to your application, as they will not be attached automatically if they are received before we have your application on file.
看来最好还是先提交网申～

I'm an applicant for master's degree.

I have a question: is it viable if TOEFL scores arrives at your department after deadline(31.Dec)?

if yes, what's the deadline for TOEFL scores?

The TOEFL scores will be accepted after the deadline however, you application will be considered incomplete and will not be reviewed for admission until your scores arrive.



This may delay a decision to be made on your application.

小秘的回答：Admission is granted on a competitive basis after the Graduate Admissions Committee reviews all submitted and completed applications. The Graduate Admissions Committee will review your application based on your entire application package (statement of purpose, GRE scores, TOEFL scores, transcripts, recommendations, etc.).  A TOEFL subset score below our minimum requirement will not cause your application to be disqualified.

Official TOEFL scores must be sent directly by ETS to "U Southern Cal," ETS code 4852.

You will need to have your official scores sent through ETS in order for us to admit you. We cannot even consider admitting you to our program without the official scores, so please have them sent. You can self-report your scores into your application until we receive the official scores.

Udel回复：Thank you for your email. You do not need to resend your scores as long as you used the institution code of 5811.

关于PSM SEEC program@ASU   
Thank you for your interest in the PSM SEEC program. Your undergraduate major would be appropriate for the program.  We require that our students have a strong working knowledge of differential equations, which I presume you have dealt with in your undergraduate studies.

The non-technical courses have been carefully chosen to be well suited for our students.  All of the courses listed on our website have been approved by the teaching faculty, based on their knowledge of our students’ background.  There are a few non-technical courses that have prerequisites.  I encourage you to research the syllabi of our course options (which are hyperlinks on the “Curriculum and Courses” tab of our web page, to learn more about such prerequisites for the courses that pique your interest.  Some of our student have indeed taken marketing for construction and found it helpful, and have received As in the class.

We have had two international students attend the program thus far.  I will say, though, that we have had an international student withdraw from the program because he found the non-technical aspects of the program to require a fair amount of reading/writing, which he believed to be too challenging based on his language barrier.  International students should have a strong command of the English language in order to succeed in the program.

答：

Applicants to the MS in Computer Science program do not need to submit WES evaluations.

We do not have a minimum requirement for the TOEFL exam. On average, successful applicants usually score around a 100, although a lower score does not necessarily guarantee denial.

问了USC Viterbi学院怎么申请多个program
答：
Hi,
Thank you for attending our webinar. I hope you found it useful. You can apply for up to five graduate programs within the Viterbi School on one application fee and with one set of supplemental materials. However, a separate application must be submitted for each program. You will apply for the first program as normal, paying the application fee and submitting all the supplemental materials (official transcripts, GRE scores, etc.). On subsequent applications you will start just as if you had never applied before, complete the application (including payment information) and submit them. Although an application cannot be submitted without payment information, you will not be charged for the subsequent applications. Also, supplemental materials will automatically be attached to subsequent applications from the first application.
