工作六年老人求职业发展意见

i spent my first 4 years after grad school doing data analysis/ modeling work and promoted to principal IC in a major consumer lending firm.

later on I jump off the boat to a smaller lending startup in the hope of joining another ‘capital one’ as one of the founding member.

After almost 2 years the company management had a drastic shift, and with me knowing more about the business, I am 100% sure the business will never fly or even have a decent size of growth, let alone getting acquired /IPO. it would never happen.

meanwhile, my ex-coworker at the prior major company are all in big names FANG/ GOLDMAN working in core projects in their industry. At thw same time, im bascialy wasting my time with the clueless business dirextion at the currwnt place.

feeling very depressed and unsuccessful, any career advice on the next move to get my career back on track? much appreciated

创业公司就是投资你自己，本身就有成或者不成的可能。但退一步说，创业公司让你站的角度，看问题的层次有了本质的区别，换句话说，如果你一直在大公司，不一定就有机会站在你现在的位置从公司的角度看问题。如果好好利用，跳回大厂也能当个manager之类也完全没问题，或者换一家更有潜力的创业公司都可以

你现在还是可以跳到大厂去啊，实话说，再过三五年，除了那些跳对了startup可以直接退休的以外，其他在大厂的也都差不多。
那么好了，总是有人跳错船，看见情况不对继续跳就是了。life is a marathon。
