开脑洞：在linkedin上联系uscis的校友说明tx lockbox的情况？

如题，感觉可能有点扯. 但是现在应该利用一切资源.


刚才联系了印度同学，鼓励他们那帮也开始骚扰uscis和ombuds。大伙把消息散开... 通知各国友人。

Dear Sir / Madam,

Hope you are doing well!

My name is XXX . I am writing to appeal for your help. I am an international student pursuing my dream in the US. I graduated on XXX (date) from XXX University. I got a dream offer at my dream company upon graduation. I applied for OPT and my documents were delivered to Lewisville TX on XXX 2020. As of now, I haven't even received a Receipt Number from TX USCIS. It has been more than 2 months, and my cashier's check will expire in less than 30 days which will make my application incomplete if Taxes USCIS still doesn't make a process.

This is not a personal problem, but rather a very large-scale problem concerning all OPT applications (i-765 forms) at Texas USCIS. All the international students who have mailed their applications after late October have been waiting in desperation, fearing everyday that our offers would be rescinded because we couldn't receive our EAD cards, or if we are forced to leave the US because our grace period has passed and OPT applications get rejected.

Taxes USCIS has not been processing OPT applications (at all) since Thanksgiving, and it seems that nobody after the delivery date of Oct 30th has received a Receipt Number. On the other hand, Arizona has processed OPT applications up to mid- / late-November now.

In distress, I don't know what else to do except for writing to you for help. COVID-19 is already really hard to get through, and I cannot afford to lose my job. I am, and we international students all are anxious everyday. It is the waiting, the unknown, the out of control, the fear, that really swallow me, leaving me stranded. I cannot focus on anything else, everything I do seem to turn out in void. It is insane, but it seems that my future depends on a card. And yes, this is the situations for international students, the disadvantaged, the neglected, and the "least important" group on the list.

I am asking sincerely for your help. Please help us here.

我刚发了一封声泪俱下的邮件给Ombudsman, 标题一部分是  PLEASE HELP!! 我家俩人（我和老公）都在等OPT，简直太抑郁了。
如果在德州的话，我都想去USCIS门口静坐了。

不错哦，加油，ＢＴＷ刚才有人在我的贴上回到，如果很多人去申诉部门投诉ＴＸ卡文件，他们就会重视，就会action，所以骚年加油吧

我在想有没有什么办法能把自己学校所有的opt申请人的名单弄出来... 我个人觉得不可能...

你们学校国家学生有啥group么，可以群里吼一声，我们学校的国际学生不多，而且今年申请的没有几个

哈哈，我也是有这种冲动，如果在ＴＸ就去门口静坐拉横幅了。太郁闷了，你有提现在的情况了么？最好给他们电话，我email了今天收到回复，鼓励我建tick

提了，我就说感恩节之后一直没动静，AZ起码还在前进。我老公的10月29号的，cashier's check 都要过期了，真从来没这么想要被花钱。。。我11月20 deliver的，最怕的就是offer被这样拖没了，然后grace period 也过了。我等下提交一个7001 form。我觉得那种理性的邮件应该有人写过了，我写的就声泪俱下的，比如 In distress, I don't know what else to do except for appealing for your help blah blah 的。

我今天给ＵＳＣＩＳ写邮件也是先是分析，然后说show your mercy之类的，唉实在是郁闷阿被卡的心烦意乱的
