For the Fiscal Year 2023 H-1B cap, in which the registration window closed last Friday, USCIS has started uploading selection notices for some registrations that were selected in the lottery. They are definitely not finished with them. I expect more to arrive throughout the weekend. Selection notices have been received for both master’s and regular cap applicants.



USCIS has not yet announced how many registrations were received this year. Last year, there were 308,613. 48% of those were submitted in the master’s cap and USCIS selected 87,000 in the first lottery.
