[招生] 芝加哥大学 - 计算机系 - 招生 - 博士/硕士/实习生 - Computer Security (2023 Summer / Fall)

简介:

    Prof. Grant Ho (https://cseweb.ucsd.edu/~grho/) will join the University of Chicago as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science, starting in July 2023, and is looking for motivated PhD students, master students, and summer interns! He has published at top security conferences such as IEEE S&P and Usenix Security (First Author Best Paper * 2). He received his PhD from UC Berkeley under Vern Paxson and David Wagner and is currently doing his postdoc at UC San Diego with Geoff Voelker and Stefan Savage.

Research Interests:

      His research studies computer security, with a particular interest in problems at the intersection of data and security. Currently, his work focuses on improving the security of organizations and enterprises along two dimensions: (1) developing new algorithms, empirical insights, and systems to thwart attacks and (2) understanding the costs and burdens of deploying security measures.


招生&要求:
     I am looking for motivated PhD / master / summer interns  who are excited about computer security problems with practical impact, such as improving the security of enterprises and exploring problems at the intersection of data science and security.

楼主不是教授本人哈。我可以帮你问下，教授应该平时挺忙的，所以等几天也是正常的。如果没有回复的话也可以等一周再邮件询问

我还真问了下。老师说法是希望你秋天能申请然后在SOP里表示对他有兴趣。原话是平时这类邮件太多了回不过来……

楼主UCSD做system/software security方向有老师推荐吗？
