补上一些关于CU Boulder申请有用的信息吧：
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

    1.  Once your transcripts and proof of degrees are received, these are evaluated by our Intl Admissions office.  
     If you have received confirmation from your courier or postal mailing service, then you can rest assured that Intl Admissions staff have received them.   After Intl Admissions uploads them to a central campus database, I am able to retrieve them to compile all for our *departmental* admissions committee, but, unlike in our previous software, the current software makes this a very time-consuming process.
    2.  After that office sends evaluation sheets to our ECEE department, and if your application is complete, then your application will then be reviewed by our departmental admissions committee.
    3.  As soon as the decision has been made, you will be e-mailed with it (whether 'admit' or 'refuse'), as we well understand how important this decision is for you, and how important the timing can be in order to prepare for visa interviews, make flight reservations, etc.
    4.      Updates?  You will be e-mailed periodic group-mail updates on status, and sometimes, individual ones, too, requesting any specific, missing materials--if applicable.  Most people submit all, in a timely way, and there is no need for such 'missing item' communications.


Question:  I see your deadline is 01 Nov.  Can I submit things after that?

        "Deadline" means:   Deadline.  The date when something must be completed.  Period.
        01 Nov is the deadline for receipt--ideally--of all items.   Realistically, our committee *requires* submission of both departmental and university applications by midnight, CO Time zone (Mountain Time Zone).  As a flexible option:   *Other* items (letters of recommendation, exam scores, transcripts) should be received by no later than 15 Nov, including GRE scores, but some GRE scores might arrive a bit later....the closer to 01 Nov, the better.


Question:  I saw an 01 Feb deadline.   What is that?
Answer:   
Applications received by 01 *Feb* will still be considered for admission--and for potential funding--but chances of potential funding are lower than for those received by 01 Nov.  
        *All* materials and supporting documents, including GRE scores must be received by 01 Feb, for those for whom potential funding is not so important.

a) Our admissions office is familiar with international universities, and converts international grades to a comparable letter-grade scale. We do not convert international grade scales to our 4-point scale as this is not necessary.
b) As the admissions center calculates your aggregate GPA with an emphasison your second through fourth years of undergraduate study, rather than yourcumulative grade point.

小秘的回答：The new DCF form for fall 2013 candidates will be available on our International Student office website on December 15, 2012.  So you should wait until it’s available and then return filled out to the Graduate Office, 130 Snell Engineering, Northeastern University, 360 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115 USA early in 2013.


You can mail your official transcripts anytime between now and early December to the address above.


2、于是我又发了一封问: 是要分两次分别寄成绩单和DCF吗？这两样都是申请过程必须的吗?
小秘的回答：An unofficial copy of your transcript as a part of the application is required.  The official can come later.  The DCF is not part of the application but does need to be sent after mid January 2013.


问下LZ，这是不是可以理解为，网申提交后，在出结果前什么都不用寄？

1.institutional emails are preferred. Our faculty reviewers have the right to disregard any faculty emails they feel might be fraudulent.
2.Only transcripts are required to be uploaded. Not study certificates
3. You may use your judgement on this matter. We cannot advise you.
第三个问题我把我们学校算GPA的方式给她看了，因为哥大的网站上说如果算GPA的方式跟美国不一样，要找权威机构转换一下，我问她我们学校这种算法跟要求的相似可不可以不转换。她竟然这样回我，我的judgement有什么用啊？我的judgement还让他录取我呢！
还有第一个问题跟上面有个Upenn的同学类似，看来columbia还是要求用institution的邮箱，不过我的老师就是用sina邮箱啊！要求用institution邮箱的学校还有哪些啊？还有没有明确说要求的用sina邮箱会不会影响真实性啊！

小秘的回答：A letter is all you need to send stating who your sponsor is and the amount of support they are able to offer. We aren't asking you to show a specific amount, we are only looking information on generally ability to cover costs. We don't need bank statements at this time.（就是写个担保信就OK啦！）

小秘的回答：Thank you for your interest in the College of Computer and Information Science at Northeastern University. You are correct. We only need an official hard copy of your transcripts if you are admitted to the program. An uploaded copy is sufficient for review.

1, A master’s degree is prerequisite to the PhD. If you do not have a master’s degree, you will not be admitted to the PhD program.
2, Yes, we review applications as they come in. We do not wait until the deadline.

A:
1, In that case, yes, we do review applications on a rolling basis.  As soon as I receive the application and it is complete I forward it to the Application Review Board.
2, The GRE scores that we have listed are only a preference and not a requirement.  You’re eligible to apply with your GRE scores.

The PMEE program is a part-time program designed for working
professionals. Unlike the research-oriented ENEE program, it is a
professionally-oriented program intended to help working engineers
gain the skills they need to advance in the industry. If you would

Since the PMEE program is geared more towards people who have been
