TOEFL口语23保命模板

口语23应该是绝大多数理工科PhD/Master学校申请的一个卡人的线。23对于英语比较好的同学来说非常容易，但是对于我这种从小哑巴英语的同学来说，应该算是一件非常折磨人的事情。备考期间本人也在如XDF等机构混的很是脸熟，听过各种口语的提高技巧。本人最后一次TOEFL成绩是113（S24），哑巴英语实锤了hhh，考后很仔细地回想了曾经学习口语的过程，写下这个帖子，希望能对还在冲23这个坎的同学些许帮助！

0. 口语学习的问题
口语第一个问题是每个人英语口语基础差异太大，有的同学可能从幼儿园开始就和外教讲英文，还有的同学直到上大学考托福才第一次开口（比如我）。这就会影响每个人的口语输出能力，以及语音、语调的好坏。但是这点我想不必过于担心，个人认为口语如果仅仅是冲23这个线，真的不是太需要上述两点。
另一个问题就是练习时间太少，备考托福之初我也清楚，如果每天晚上自己练上10个task2，背点段子，最后说得一定会流利得多。但问题就是我是真的没时间。第一次备考托福的时候我还不算太忙，给了口语不到一周的时间，仅仅是熟悉了每个task的结构。第二次托福（113这次）因为太忙，口语只给了两天时间。诚然，口语多练总比少练要好，但是对于很忙的同学，我希望下面的“保命”模板能够多多少少带来一些帮助，既然是“模板”，只要使用熟练即可。

1. task2+task3+task4
先把这三个放在一起，窃以为这三个task应该不是大家最担心的，毕竟只要听力够用，把60s说满，说个马马虎虎拿个fair还是可以的。因为口语23大概需要4个fair，而后三个task只要对文章&听力结构比较熟悉，再把控一下自己复述时的时间分配，窃以为拿到fair是不难的。对我而言，真正有压力的是task1。我本身属于聊天黑洞这种类型，应变能力不是很强，一旦task1的问题我没准备到位，或者没有及时找到可以套的段子，我基本就爆炸了......所以给出了下面的模板

2. task1
先说一下模板结构：一个大观点+一个小观点（取决于时间）
大观点：task1是二选一结构，题目出来后第一件事情就是迅速选择一个，然后给出理由“save time/waste time”。下面举一些例子
e.g. Some universities accept the students to choose a major field of study when they enter the school; while other universities allow students to take some courses in different fields before deciding to choose a major field of study. Which do you prefer? Why or why not?
模板：我同意入校时就选专业，因为它save time
e.g. Your university is planning to allow people in the community to take courses with students. This course will be free for them and they will not receive feedback or grades about their papers. Do you think this is a good program and why?
模板：我不同意，这些人进来上课多waste time啊
e.g. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Students should take some additional courses so that they can get their credits more quickly.
模板：不同意，我没时间
. check 1point3acres for more.e.g. Some people prefer to gather a lot of information before traveling. Others prefer to go straight to the place they plan to go to. Which do you prefer?
模板：直接去，这样save time
e.g. Some people prefer to resolve problems with friends directly face to face or on the phone. Some others prefer to resolve problems by writing, sending E-mail or text message. Which one do you prefer? Why?
模板：当然face to face/on the phone，多么save time
e.g. To teach old people to use the computer in the community, which do you think is better? To find a professional to teach them outside, or to find a student to teach them at home?
模板：当然是找professional，我们学生哪有时间？

e.g. When your friend is about to take a visit to your house. Do you prefer them to inform you before their coming, or do you prefer a surprise visit?
模板：当然得提前通知了，我忙得很
e.g. If you have a misunderstanding with your friend, do you prefer talking it out in a public place or in a private place?
模板：public place，我可没时间单独约地方
e.g. Some companies are controversial and may even be criticized by their business practice, but it offers employees a good pay. Would you like to get a job in the company or not?
模板：我愿意，我这么忙还不是为了￥
大观点第二步：编一个很详细的例子，最好和你的专业相关，以我的专业化学为例，下面开始吟唱
模板：Personally speaking, I prefer XXX, just because XXX saves me a lot of time/is a waste of time. You know, I'm a senior student and I major in Organic Chemistry. I have tons of work to do everyday like writing my experiment report, tracing and dealing with my data, and preparing for the courses for the next day. I spent most of my time in laboratories and library everyday, and also I have to do some internships in my spare time. So I don't have any time to waste.
小观点：好了现在你已经凑出一大半的时间了，小观点称之为“Personal Preference”，可以针对你选的观点随便说一个理由，可以很无厘头。比如：你喜欢去陌生的地方旅游还是熟悉的地方？那你说完大观点：熟悉的地方，因为save time之后，就针对“熟悉的地方”说一个小理由，比如：我这个人不是很喜欢探索新东西/我可以have a better comprehension of the familiar place。这个小理由可以利用前期的15s准备时间想出来，因为说小理由的时候已经不剩什么时间了，而且小理由很随性，所以不需要思考如何展开，只要一句话带过即可
模板：Well I have to admit that it's my personal preference. I prefer to XXX just because XXX. Therefore, I prefer XXX. （有时间的话再说therefore这句）

3. 总结
save time/waste time这个万能理由在套的时候，并不需要逻辑上套的很顺，因为在这个帖子里我们的目标是23，所以我们要做的只是把这个模板练得滚瓜烂熟，考场上task1给考官一种你英语极其流利的假象。至于逻辑上通不通顺，通顺当然更好，不通顺个人认为也没关系。当然了，没事的时候可以多看看口语题，想一想各种题目怎么往上硬套。
还提一下时间分配：大观点25-30秒，小观点15-20秒，考前多联系一下把控时间。
这个模板个人认为还是比较简单的，突击的话1-2天完全够用，当然了，要说的极其熟练。语音语调在23分段应该不会影响很大，重要的是考场上你要展现出喷子一样的输出能力，task1拿下之后，剩下几个task也会信心满满。
