背景： 楼主ME硕士毕业，现有两段DS实习经历（从今年2月至今），目前海投均没有面试，没有内推。望各位前辈们给与赐教，如何撰写好的cover letter，不胜感激~~回复一定给您加米，再次感谢

just a data point: i've hired 10+ people (software engineer / machine learning / data) but I've never read a piece of cover letter. our system doesn't even allow submitting cover letters.

maybe it'll yield better return if you spend your time somewhere else?

after skimming thru your cover letter. some thoughts:

you've listed skills like deep learning, visualization, project management, etc. but i thought those are the "required skills" for a DS.

if you ever wanted to write a cover letter, think what will make you stand out and write that.

i took another look. gramma, and readability of your letter in general, is poor.

"i was afforded the opportunity to work on ..." ?
last paragraph - every sentence was started with "I".
you should really read through your letter and spot areas you can rewrite and make better.
