About Dr. Syed Ali Asad Rizvi:

Dr. Rizvi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Tennessee Tech, USA. Prior to joining Tennessee Tech, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), USA. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia, USA. His primary background is in controls, and his current research interests include control theory, machine learning, optimization, and their application in autonomous systems including autonomous vehicles, energy systems, HVAC systems, and electric motor drives.
