Dr. Kishaly Jha joined the School of  Engineering at University of Iowa as Assistant Professor and he is looking for prospective Ph.D students.

I have multiple Ph.D positions (fully-funded) in the areas of data mining and machine learning for the Spring/Fall 2023 academic year. Generally speaking, my research program focuses on developing scalable machine learning algorithms for the analysis of overwhelmingly large and complex data, especially the large-scale scientific data being perpetually generated in the rapidly evolving interdisciplinary domains such as life sciences and biomedicine. Candidates with strong background in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, statistics, mathematics or other related areas are encouraged to apply.
