Colleges or universities should offer students a better job preparation before they start working.

1.更有竞争力，本来就是学生选择学校的初衷。
2.生源好可以提高学校的知名度
3.但是也有一些人致力搞学术，就没必要提供，可以自主选择

As the world is developing in a high speed, a lot of competition among society and job market is becoming more fierce than ever before. A heated debate that whether a better job preparation should be offered in colleges or universities before students start working has raised the public attention. Different people have different opinions as individual has various definition about the competition in the job market. Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concerns, I agree that a better job preparation is in need. My conspicuous opinions will be substantiated based on the following reasons.

First and foremost, no one can deny the fact that nowadays it is the colleges' duty to make the students fully prepared for the future job and provide students with the opportunity of putting them in favorable job position in the future. Therefore, a better job preparation is in desperate need for students before they start working, especially among the fierce competition among large amount of young people. It is true that nowadays people with not only academic knowledge but also full career preparation will be more likely to have the chance of job promotion and salary increase. Therefore, being fully prepared for job will make students more competitive and attractive among companies and their competitors. In addition, according to a recent survey, over 83 percent of the companies that involved in the study admit that they prefer students with better job preparation in the job market, since they can get familiar with the job quickly and efficiently. It will in turn reduce the cost of training of new employees and increase the profit as well.

In the second place, it is common sense that nowadays parents and students are more likely to choose the university based on the employment rate of the university graduates. They believe that universities with high employment rate can provide students with more opportunity in the future job after they graduate. For example, my brother graduated from high school last year, and he spent a lot of energy and time to make the choice among various universities. Finally, after consulting his parents and other relatives, he chose the university that provide better job preparation since he really wanted to find a good job directly after graduating from university. Moreover, it is true that the university will improve its reputation with an increasing number of new students. It will definitely increase the profit of the university. With the increased money, universities can improve their facilities and academic quality.

Last but not least, admittedly, it is too extreme to say that colleges or universities should offer students a better job preparation. As a result, there are some talent students who make up their minds to research deeper in specific academic areas. There is no need for them to get fully prepared for the future job. Therefore, it will be an effective way for all students in the universities that all the universities provide job preparation for students while students can make decision whether to take the preparation or not.

In light of all the aspects discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that colleges or universities should offer a better job preparation for students, since it can make students more competitive and attractive and improve the universities' reputation.
