佛罗里达大学招收PhD学生，研究方向为医学图像和AI

Gong lab at UF BME has multiple openings for highly qualified individuals to work on NIH-funded projects related to medical image reconstruction, medical image analysis, and machine learning methodologies. The research projects aim to utilize machine learning-based image reconstruction and analysis to improve the diagnosis and progression tracking of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and cancer. The projects are based on collaborations with clinicians from MGH, Harvard Aging Brain Study (HABS), and MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC).

UF is the premier higher education institution in the state and is currently ranked #6 nationally among all public universities (2024 U.S. News & World Report) and among the top 20 research Universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education. UF is making artificial intelligence the centerpiece of a major, long-term initiative that is combining world-class research infrastructure, leading-edge research and a transformational approach to curriculum.

The deadline for UF BME PhD application is Dec 5th, 2023. If interested, please send your curriculum vitae, a cover letter describing your background and research interests, and your transcripts to Dr. Gong (kgong@bme.ufl.edu). The email title is better to start with "Application for UF BME".
